We may collect the following data locally on your device or via secure OAuth connections:

Photos & Media: To process and generate captions using our AI.
Social Profile Data: Name, username, and public posts when you explicitly link accounts like Instagram or LinkedIn.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used strictly for core app functionality (such as analyzing a photo using AI to generate a caption). We do not sell your data, nor do we run background tracking for advertising purposes. We only use official OAuth handshakes to authenticate with third-party networks.

3. Data Deletion Request (Required by Google Play)

We respect your right to be forgotten. If you wish to unlink your social media, or request the permanent deletion of any data associated with Kortex Captions, please send an email to:

Instructions: Include the subject line "Data Deletion Request" along with the email address or username associated with your account. We will process your request and permanently wipe your data within 7 business days.

4. Data Security

All data transmitted between Kortex Captions and our third-party AI or social providers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS protocols.
